The Mass will be broadcast live every third Sunday of the month at 9:00am. This service will complement the efforts of the parish in reaching out to all members of the community. At the same time, this will provide an opportunity for homebound Catholics to unite themselves spiritually with their parish community especially during prayer and the celebration of sacraments.
This service has undergone testing during the 75th Parish Fiesta. Several activities including the solemn enthronement, some of the novena masses, and the parish fiesta Mass were shown live on the YTP website.
The Young Thomasian Professionals and the Parish Ministry on Social Communication will continue to develop this service in order to make it more accessible. Other parish ministries and organizations, especially those involved in house-to-house visitation, will be tapped for assistance in informing households, barangays, and BECs about the availability of Sunday Mass online.
Meanwhile, the parish priest's street masses will continue to be celebrated as usual.
It must be pointed out that the live streaming service is only for those Catholics who, due to valid reasons, are unable to go to church. It is not a valid substitute to actual Mass attendance for those who are able to come.
The Young Thomasian Professionals and Santisimo Rosario Parish - UST wish to express their gratitude to Dr. Belen L. Tangco, O.P., Rev. Fr. Winston F. Cabading, O.P., Engr. Raymond Mendoza, and the Santo Tomas e-Service Providers (STEPS) for their support in this endeavor.
