Before this, they spent almost a year in the pre-novitiate at the Dominican Convent of St. Albert the Great in the same city. After the celebration, they proceeded directly to the Dominican Novitiate of the Annunciation in Manaoag, Pangasinan. There they shall spend one whole year, without communication (save for one permissible visit from their families), to allow them to focus on intensified formation as future professed Dominican friars and priests.
Br. Argene Clasara, OP made his simple profession into the Young Thomasian Professionals Lay Dominican chapter-in-formation, on September 12, 2016. In 2017, he obtained his bachelor's degree in History, cum laude, from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Arts and Letters.
