We invite young Thomasian professionals (students or graduates of the University of Santo Tomas) to undergo formation and become members of the Order of Preachers as Lay Dominicans. We are an all-male chapter-in-formation of the Dominican Laity, based in Santisimo Rosario Parish - UST and is directly under the Dominican Province of the Philippines.
Qualifications
An aspirant must be:
A young, male professional who is: (a) currently an enrolled UST student, or (b) one who studied in UST but did not finish, (c) or a graduate of UST;
At least eighteen (18) years of age;
Well-disposed, practicing Catholic, living a devout life and of good repute, and sincerely desirous of Christian perfection;
Ready to commit himself to the group and the Dominican Family with filial allegiance;
Single, or if married, with the written consent of the spouse; and
Must not belong to any other religious order or congregation, or to another lay organization.

The screening process for YTP is two-tiered: the initial screening is to be done by the officers while the final screening is to be done by the formator and/or spiritual director. Only those with the favorable recommendation of the officers may proceed to the final screening.
