Lay Dominicans are governed primarily by the Rule; secondarily by the General Declarations and Letters of the Masters of the Order and of the General Chapters; and thirdly by the Directory and By-Laws promulgated in their respective Provinces (cf. Statutes, no. 24). Each Province has its own Directory, and its study is a vital part of each member's formation.
The current Directory and By-Laws of the Dominican Laity in the Philippine Province has been promulgated in 2010 by then Prior Provincial, Rev. Fr. Quirico T. Pedregosa Jr., OP.
The Directory (booklet) is available at the religious store of Santo Domingo Church (Quezon City) and at Santisimo Rosario Parish (University of Santo Tomas, Manila).
